Accounting Manager
David joined Macro Funds Ltd in June 2005 and prior to joining, David had been an auditor for three years. He has worked for BDO in Canada and both Sygnym Financial Services and Pitcher Partners in Perth. David has completed the CA program run by the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He has had experience auditing funds management, financial services, mining and manufacturing companies. David has assumed responsibility for all the accounting function in respect of the Funds that Macro is responsible for.

Helen joined Macro Funds Ltd in January 2008 and has worked in the financial services industry for the past 10 years. These have included roles with Police and Nurses Credit Society and Asgard Wealth Solutions. Helen’s duties have included the preparation of management accounts, financial statements and various other accounting functions

Geraldine Holland – BA MBA
Compliance Manager
Geraldine joined Macro Funds Ltd in April 2008 and prior to joining, Geraldine assumed a similar compliance role with Becton Investment Management Ltd for six years. She has previously worked for Jardine Fleming Futures and DBS Bank in Singapore for approximately five years in the role of compliance and settlements. Geraldine has completed her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Western Australia in 2001. She has experience in compliance, insurance, procedures and document control, and attending to statutory corporate requirements. Geraldine has assumed the role of Company Secretary and assists the directors in all aspects of compliance and statutory reporting that Macro is responsible for.

Gloria Kessler – B.Comm
Accountant Funds management
Gloria Kessler joined Macro Funds Ltd in February 2009. Gloria was previously an auditor with KPMG Singapore, with experience in auditing fund management, real estate investment trust, shipping and manufacturing companies. In addition, Gloria has worked for CordLife where she was involved in financial and management accounting as well as internal audit and due diligence assignments.

Luke Komosinski – B.Comm MA
Accountant – Managed Funds
Luke Komosinski has worked in a wide range of service based companies both domestically and internationally for the past seven years. These have included Coates Hire Limited, Spotless Services – NFM, the Tate Gallery (UK), Signs and Awnings (USA). Positions held by Luke included project accountant, financial accountant to management accountant. Luke has joined Macro Funds Ltd in January 2006 to apply his experience to the role of Accountant – Managed Funds.

Rhona McCabe
Assistant Accountant
Rhona joined Macro in January 2009 and has worked within the Finance department of various industries for the past 20 yrs. These include companies within the engineering, manufacturing, legal and retail fields, in both South Africa and UK. Within the company Rhona will have control over credit payments and debtors.

Penny McGuire
Administration Manager
Penny McGuire has extensive experience in registry and stock broking environments. Penny was a Share Officer with Computershare Investors Services for 10 years undertaking a variety of roles including validation, vetting and processing a wide variety of transactions as well as attending to client telephone and written enquiries. Prior to joining Macro Penny was the Settlement Officer for a Perth based stock broker where she was responsible for settling all trades, processing corporate actions and dealing with other listed security transactions. Penny commenced at Macro in January 2007 as Administration Manager responsible for maintaining the funds registers, fund distributions, unit holder enquiries and other fund administration.

Jeremy North – B.Bus
Accountant Funds management
Jeremy joined Macro Funds Ltd in March 2009. With over 2 years accounting experience, Jeremy has considerable knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation and month-end reporting procedures. Previous work experience includes providing accounting and administration support to The Pharmacy Guild of WA and managing its financial system. Jeremy has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting and Finance) and a Bachelor of Science (Molecular Biology) and is also working towards obtaining his Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) accreditation.

Phillip Opechowski – B.Comm
Accountant – Managed Funds
Prior to joining Macro in October 2006, Phillip worked for an business providing specialist superannuation solutions for self managed superannuation funds (SMSF), where his duties included the preparation of income tax returns, financial statements and various statutory forms for SMSF.
Prior to this Phillip undertook a variety of accounting based roles including a number with public accounting firms and he brings a wide range of accounting experience to his role at Macro.
